学术锦标赛制:中国学术增长的动力机制与激励逻辑

【摘要】：21世纪以来,中国学术产量长期保持高速增长,其动力机制主要来自何方?曾对中国经济增长做出有力解释的锦标赛制理论为此提供了一种可能的解释视角。中国学术治理模式采用了多重"委托-代理"机制,符合锦标赛制的技术前提,因而具有典型的学术锦标赛制特征。中国学术锦标赛制的激励逻辑在于通过信念共识和利益联结,将国家宏观目标、大学组织中观目标和学术人员微观目标三者统一起来,产生强激励并推动学术高速增长。
[Abstract]:Since 21th century, China's academic output has been growing at a high speed for a long time. Where does its motive mechanism come from? The theory of tournament system, which has provided a powerful explanation for China's economic growth, provides a possible perspective of interpretation. China's academic governance model adopts a multi-pronged "principal-agent" mechanism, which conforms to the technical premise of the championship system. The motivation logic of the Chinese academic championship system lies in the unity of the national macro goal, the university organization mesoscopic goal and the academic personnel micro goal through the consensus of belief and the connection of interests, and the motivation logic of the Chinese academic championship system is to unify the national macro goal, the university organization meso goal and the academic personnel micro goal. Generate strong incentives and promote high-speed academic growth.
