为什么要纪念西北联大

【摘要】："七·七"卢沟桥事变之后,中华民族处于生死存亡的危急关头,国立北平大学、国立北平师范大学、国立北洋工学院、省立河北女子师范学院、国立北平研究院等四校一院奉命西迁西安,复迁陕南汉中,形成战时我国最大的两个大学联合体之一--国立西北联合大学。与西南联大几乎全部北归不同,西北联大除北平师范大学、北洋工学院迁回原址复校外,在西北留下了西北大学、西北工学院、西北医学院、西北农学院、西北师范学院等国立五校。今天的西北大学、北京师范大学、天津大学、西北师范大学、西北工业大学、西北农林科技大学、西安交通大学、河北师范大学等院校,与西北联合大学均有源流和传承关系。西北联大在中国近现代高等教育史上具有重大历史意义和现实意义。它是中国高等学校区域分布由"点"、"线"布局向"面"的布局演化的历史性转折,它将高等教育制度系统地传入西北,奠定了西北高等教育的基础;它从知识、思想、文化等方面促进了西部地区的社会进步,为战后中国西北建设奠定了思想文化基础,为21世纪的西部大开发蓄积了宝贵的人力资本;特别是它凝聚和发扬了中华民族不屈不挠的意志和共赴国难的团结精神,为中国高等教育的发展积累了宝贵的历史经验。胡锦涛总书记在清华大学百周年校庆大会上的讲话中指出,我国高等教育凝聚了两大光荣传统:文化传统与革命传统。我们希望通过回顾西北联大的历史,更加全面地了解20世纪我国高等教育的精神传统、传承和文化创新,诚邀海内外专家学者赐稿,共襄盛举。
[Abstract]:After the "July 7th" Lugou Bridge incident, the Chinese nation was in a critical moment of survival and death. National Peiping University, National Peiping normal University, National Bei Yang Institute of Technology, and Hebei Women's normal College, The National Peiping Research Institute and other four schools and one institute were ordered to move westward to Xi'an and to Hanzhong in southern Shaanxi, forming one of the two largest combinations of universities in China during the wartime-the National Northwest Union University. In addition to the relocation of Peiping normal University and Beiyang Institute of Technology to its original site, the Northwest General Assembly has left five national schools in the Northwest, such as the Northwest University, the Northwest Institute of Technology, the Northwest Medical College, the Northwest Agricultural College, the Northwest normal College, and so on. Today's Northwest University, Beijing normal University, Tianjin University, Northwest normal University, Northwest Polytechnic University, Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Hebei normal University, etc. It is of great historical and practical significance in the history of China's modern higher education. It is the regional distribution of higher education in China from "point", "line" layout to "face". "the historic turning point in the evolution of the layout, It systematically introduced the higher education system into the northwest, laid the foundation of the northwest higher education, promoted the social progress in the western region from the aspects of knowledge, thought and culture, and laid the ideological and cultural foundation for the construction of northwest China after the war. In 21th century, it accumulated valuable human capital for the great development of the western region; in particular, it condensed and carried forward the indomitable will of the Chinese nation and the spirit of unity in going to the national disaster. It has accumulated valuable historical experience for the development of higher education in China. General Secretary Hu Jintao pointed out in his speech at the Centenary of Tsinghua University that. China's higher education embodies two glorious traditions: cultural tradition and revolutionary tradition. By reviewing the history of the Northwest General Assembly, we hope to have a more comprehensive understanding of the spiritual tradition, heritage and cultural innovation of our higher education in 20th century. Experts and scholars at home and abroad are invited to send manuscripts to participate in the event.
