融资危机与美国公立大学困境——一场由公共经费拨款萎缩引发的博弈

【摘要】：自20世纪70年代以来,政府公共经费拨款的萎缩所引发的美国公立大学融资危机,使美国公立大学陷入了严重的发展困境。美国经济持续疲软使政府投入的公共教育拨款持续下降,为了维持大学运营,公立大学纷纷大幅提高学费,强化了实用主义至上的理念。这使得公立大学逐步背离了大学理念,造成了公立教育的质量危机。
[Abstract]:Since the 1970s, the American public university financing crisis caused by the shrinking of government funds has led to a serious development dilemma for American public universities. As the U.S. economy continues to weaken, government spending on public education continues to decline, and public universities have sharply increased tuition fees to keep the universities running, reinforcing the pragmatist philosophy. This makes the public universities gradually deviate from the concept of universities, resulting in the quality of public education crisis.
