城市小学生英语学习兴趣调查及教学启示

【摘要】：兴趣在英语学习中起着至关重要的作用。近些年来,研究者对学生学习兴趣的关注日益增加,关于小学生对英语学习兴趣的讨论和研究从未停止。如今,城市小学生英语学习兴趣的现状如何?学校、老师、家长等因素对小学生的英语学习兴趣是否有影响?本文以城市小学中、高年级学生为研究对象,旨在通过实证研究,探知其英语学习兴趣水平及相关影响因素。本研究通过问卷调查,对成都盐道街小学303名学生和6英语教师进行了调查。通过研究分析,调查的主要研究结果如下：(1)城市小学中高年级学生英语学习兴趣整体较好。大多数学生对英语学习很感兴趣,对英语学习完全不感兴趣的学生数量很少。(2)六年级学生的英语学习兴趣最强。这一研究结果与前人研究结果不同。(3)学生英语学习兴趣在性别和始学年龄上也有较大的区别。女生的英语学习兴趣普遍高于男生。三岁之前开始学习英语的学生学习兴趣最强。(4)学校支持、课堂活动、教师行为、教材教具以及家庭支持这五个因素对学生英语学习兴趣确有影响。最后,基于研究结果,本文提出了一些教育启示,希望可以作为教师培养和保持学生对英语学习兴趣的一点建议。
[Abstract]:Interest plays a vital role in English learning.In recent years, researchers have paid more and more attention to students' interest in English learning, and the discussion and research on pupils' interest in English learning has never stopped.What is the current situation of students' interest in English learning in urban areas?Do schools, teachers, parents and other factors affect pupils' interest in learning English?This paper aims to find out the level of interest in English learning and its related factors through empirical study among senior students in urban primary schools.This study investigated 303 students and 6 English teachers in Chengdu Yandaojie Primary School.Through research and analysis, the main results of the investigation are as follows: 1) the middle and senior grade students in urban primary schools have a good interest in English learning as a whole.Most of the students are very interested in English learning, and the number of students who are not interested in English learning at all is very small. (2) Grade 6 students have the strongest interest in English learning.The results of this study are different from those of previous studies. (3) students' interest in English learning also differs greatly in terms of gender and starting age.Girls' interest in English learning is generally higher than that of boys.Students who started learning English before the age of three had the strongest interest in English learning. (4) School support, classroom activities, teacher behavior, teaching aids and family support did affect students' interest in English learning.Finally, based on the results of the study, this paper puts forward some suggestions for teachers to cultivate and maintain their interest in English learning.
