小学英语教材插图使用的问题与对策研究

【摘要】：教材作为学校教育课程资源的核心部分。近年来,越来越多的教材编写者力求以图文并茂、色彩鲜明的插图和文字结合的方式呈现教材。显然,配有插图的教材无疑会更具吸引力,也更符合小学生的认知特点。而作为使用教材的师生,对插图的使用率却不高,使用效果也参差不齐。本研究首先对外研社2014年版小学英语教材(三年级起点)的全套(8册)进行文本分析,重点统计分析该版教材的数量、抽象程度、组织形式、功能等,而后分别进行结果分析,发现该版教材是多插图的教材,在设置上存在数量过多、卡通漫画图多,易失真、过于依赖故事序列图等问题。其次,笔者结合问卷、课堂观察和访谈的形式对海口市两所小学的英语教师和学生对英语教材插图的使用情况进行调查,在以满意度、认知程度、理解度、使用程度、使用效果几个维度对师生进行了问卷调查时,对问卷的信度、效度和结果经由SPSS19.0检测、统计和分析,结果显示师生对该版教材总体满意,师生能理解大部分插图,但使用度一般,使用效果平平。同时,笔者深入课堂进行实地观察和整理课堂实录,并从中选取课例分析当前插图教学的实际情况和存在哪些问题。而后分别对师生进行单独访谈,更细致地调查师生对插图的使用情况、意见和看法等方面,补充调查遗漏的内容,使现状调查更具全面性。最后,通过文本分析和现状调查的整理分析发现小学英语教材插图使用存在的问题,并针对问题从教师和学生的角度探究原因。在此基础上分别对教材插图设置、教师使用插图和学生使用插图提出对策和建议,以期完善教材插图的设置,让教师和学生能更好的使用插图,发挥插图的最大效用。此外,笔者还总结反思了本研究中的不足之处,也提出了对研究者开展后续研究的展望。
[Abstract]:Teaching material is the core part of school education curriculum resources.In recent years, more and more textbook writers try to present the textbooks in the form of illustrations and characters with vivid pictures and texts.Clearly, illustrated textbooks will undoubtedly be more attractive and more consistent with pupils' cognitive characteristics.As teachers and students using textbooks, the use of illustrations is not high, the use effect is not uniform.In this study, first of all, a text analysis was carried out on the 2014 edition of the Foreign Research Institute English textbook (a full set of 8 copies of the third grade starting point), with a focus on the statistical analysis of the number, abstraction, organizational form and function of the edition, and then the results were analyzed separately.It is found that the textbook is a multi-illustration textbook, and there are many problems in setting up, such as too many cartoon drawings, easy distortion, too much reliance on the sequence diagram of the story, and so on.Secondly, in the form of questionnaire, classroom observation and interview, the author investigates the use of English textbook illustrations by English teachers and students in two primary schools in Haikou City.The reliability, validity and results of the questionnaire were tested, statistically and analyzed by SPSS19.0. The results showed that teachers and students were satisfied with the textbook, and teachers and students could understand most of the illustrations.But the use degree is average, the use effect is flat.At the same time, the author goes deep into the classroom to observe and sort out the classroom record, and selects the lesson example to analyze the actual situation and the existing problems of the current illustration teaching.Then the teachers and students were interviewed separately to investigate the use of illustrations, opinions and opinions of teachers and students in detail, to supplement the missing contents of the investigation, so as to make the survey more comprehensive.Finally, through text analysis and analysis of the present situation, the author finds out the problems in the use of illustrations in primary school English textbooks, and explores the causes from the perspective of teachers and students.On the basis of this, the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to set up illustrations of teaching materials, teachers using illustrations and students using illustrations, in order to perfect the setting of textbook illustrations, so that teachers and students can use illustrations better and give full play to the maximum utility of illustrations.In addition, the author also summarizes and reflects on the shortcomings of this study, and puts forward the prospect of further research.
