故事教学法在小学英语词汇教学中的实证研究

　　 词汇是语言的三大要素之一。词汇教学在小学英语教学中起着非常重要的作用。在教学过程中,许多教师想方设法提高词汇教学的有效性。但是,大部分学生依然对词汇学习不感兴趣,他们认为背单词枯燥乏味而且背过之后很容易忘。同时,小学英语教师也没有提高学生英语词汇学习兴趣的方法。因此,小学的英语词汇教学情况不容乐观,研究探索一种有效的教学方法来提高学生的词汇学习兴趣和词汇水平十分有必要。故事教学法在教育领域已被证实为一种有效的新型的教学方法。随着研究的深入,故事教学法的优点得到了验证,但是该方法在小学词汇教学这个领域的研究依然不足。本研究以小学词汇教学为研究方向,旨在回答以下问题:1.故事教学法可以提高学生的英语词汇学习兴趣吗?2.可以通过故事教学法提高学生的词汇水平吗?本研究的周期为18周(从2017年9月至2018年1月),地点是山西省解原小学,实验对象是该小学四年级的两个平行班,以及这所学校2名参与故事编写的英语教师,其中一名教师是实验班和控制班的英语教师。参与实验的学生总人数为82人,其中40人的1班作为实验班,42人的2班作为控制班。教材是人民教育出版社出版的小学英语课本。实验班和控制班都是由同一位老师教授,但教学方法不同。控制班使用传统教学法教授词汇,而实验班则是通过故事教学法教授词汇。所有数据均通过测试,问卷调查收集,并通过Word 2007和SPSS19.0统计软件进行分析。最后,在实验结束时把采访作为补充以获得更多关于学生对故事教学法态度的信息。实验结果表明,实验班学生学习英语单词的兴趣大大提高,词汇成绩也优于控制班。但由于本研究的局限性,笔者希望故事教学法能够得到进一步研究,为实践教学提供更切实可行的建议。
