关于《高等教育？》翻译的实践报告

【摘要】：翻译是人类社会历史最悠久的活动之一,几乎与语言同时诞生,其作用不可估量。随着我国经济持续快速发展,我国综合国力不断增强,政治、经济、文化等各方面的国际交往日益频繁,翻译的作用愈发突出。 Andrew Hacker和Claudia Dreifus共同撰写的《高等教育?》,对美国的高等教育制度进行了透彻的分析和犀利的批判,写作手法清楚明白,直截了当而又鲜明生动。译介此著作,可以对我国当前教育制度产生借鉴作用,其意义不可谓不深远。 本文以《高等教育?》一书为研究对象,详尽分析介绍了笔者在翻译该书时所做的种种准备以及遇到的各种问题,从目标文本的语言定位、词义选择、词义转换、词类转换、句子结构翻译、句群整合与分析、文化归属翻译等方面加以分析,并针对翻译过程中遇到的问题介绍了笔者的心得和体会。
[Abstract]:Translation, one of the oldest activities in human society, is born at the same time as language.With the sustained and rapid development of China's economy, the overall national strength of our country has been continuously enhanced, and international exchanges in political, economic, cultural and other aspects have become increasingly frequent, and the role of translation has become more and more prominent."higher Education?" by Andrew Hacker and Claudia Dreifus, a thorough analysis and sharp criticism of American higher education system, the writing technique is clear, straightforward and vivid.The translation and introduction of this work can be used as a reference for China's current education system, and its significance is profound.Taking the book "higher Education?" as the object of study, this paper analyzes in detail the various preparations made by the author and the problems encountered in translating the book, including the target text's language orientation, word meaning selection, word meaning conversion, and part of speech conversion.This paper analyzes sentence structure translation, sentence group integration and analysis, cultural attribution translation and so on, and introduces the author's experiences and experiences in the process of translation.
