普特南价值客观性思想——以“混杂的伦理概念”为分析视角

【摘要】：美国著名新实用主义哲学家普特南认为:对于当代哲学研究而言,价值是生死攸关的问题。他以重构价值客观性的论证为目标,在其后期思想中,对伦理概念进行了细致考察。普特南通过驳斥描述和评价的二分法与将伦理概念进行分层的策略,阐释"混杂的伦理概念"(thick ethical concepts)的描述性功能,进而为伦理价值判断的客观性提供了富有启发性的论述。同时,其观点在不同文化传统间关于"混杂的伦理概念"的分歧、"混杂的伦理概念"与"空洞的伦理概念"的关系等问题上,存在需要澄清和推进的环节,这为未来研究提供了思路和方向。
[Abstract]:Putnam, a famous American neo-pragmatism philosopher, holds that value is a matter of life and death for the study of contemporary philosophy. Aiming at the argumentation of reconstructing the objectivity of value, he made a careful study of the concept of ethics in his later thought. By refuting the dichotomy of description and evaluation and the strategy of stratifying ethical concepts, Putnam explains the descriptive function of "mixed Ethical Concepts" (thick ethical concepts). Then it provides an enlightening exposition for the objectivity of ethical value judgment. At the same time, there are links to clarify and advance the differences between different cultural traditions about "mixed ethical concepts" and the relationship between "mixed ethical concepts" and "empty ethical concepts". This provides the thought and the direction for the future research.
