中西责任观跨文化研究

　　责任作为伦理学的一个重要范畴,在主要的人际关系中特别是在家庭和集体中起着重要作用。责任观作为一个重要的价值观念,进一步地反映了人与他人的关系。在承认所有文化里的责任观的普遍性的同时,人们还必须认识到责任的不同文化涵义。由于文化价值尺度的影响,中西方人有不同的家庭观念和集体观念,基于这两种观念的差异,中西文化之间的家庭责任观念和集体责任观念也会有所不同。因此,探讨责任问题,必须发掘它的文化特征和文化根源。本文采用比较和对比的方法,对中西方的责任观进行跨文化研究。本文对责任观的跨文化研究集中在家庭责任与集体责任。运用霍夫斯塔德的文化价值理论和面子理论阐述这两种责任观在中西文化里的不同之处。对差异的分析得出,中国人的家庭责任观体现了家庭成员之间分等级的职责,而西方人的家庭责任观体现了每个家庭成员的平等作用。中国人的集体责任观着重在维持成员之间的和谐关系和实现集体目标之间保持一个平衡,而西方人的集体责任观则以突出个人责任来实现集体目标。此外,通过对跨文化家庭和国际商务磋商中的由责任观引起跨文化冲突的讨论,本文得出最终结论:中西责任观的差异体现了面子取向的问题。中国人承担责任的方式是以他人取向的...
