[Abstract]:In the era of more than 200 years of lock, in Nagasaki, the only port in Japan that opened doors only to China and the Netherlands, the large-scale and persistent input of the Chinese script was put into the Chinese language. One of the main ways in which culture was introduced to Japan was the frequent visit of the Tang (Netherlands) Chinese merchant ship to Nagasaki Port. It has brought about the prosperity of Nagasaki and even Japan's trade. What is active in Sino-Japanese cultural and trade exchanges is a group of Chinese people who are known as "Tang Tong Shi". The Tang Tong incident came into being in 1631, at the height of Sino-Japanese trade. Most of their ancestors were Chinese who had emigrated to Japan. Tang Tongshi's appointment qualifications were very strict. At that time, as a kind of official position, Tang Tongshi enjoyed a high reputation in Japanese society. Tang Tongshi's work was multi-faceted. In the Edo era, he mainly engaged in translation and practice of foreign trade. Tang Tong made great contribution to promoting the spread of Chinese culture.
