儒教宪政:牟宗三“新外王”说新解

【摘要】:论者一直普遍认为,牟宗三在其"新外王"说中的政治主张是"民主"。本文在广泛而深入地研究一手资料的基础上,对"新外王"说提出了新的解读:牟宗三真正的政治主张实际上是"儒教宪政"。"民主"与"宪政"有原则性区别,牟宗三本人和许多旁观者所意谓的"民主",如果细加推究,实际上主要是"宪政"。而且他推扬宗教之价值,并主张儒教为一"宗教",且认为应当立之为国教以指导政治。与西方自由主义者之政治主张不同,其"新外王"说实际上是某种"政教合一"说。
[Abstract]:Critics have generally believed that Mou Zongsan's political position in his new foreign king's theory is democracy. On the basis of extensive and in-depth study of the primary materials, this paper puts forward a new interpretation of the theory of "the new foreign king": Mou Zongsan's true political proposition is actually "Confucianism constitutionalism". " There is a principle difference between democracy and constitutionalism. Mou Zongsan himself and many bystanders mean "democracy". Moreover, he promoted the value of religion, and advocated Confucianism as a "religion", and thought that it should be established as the state religion to guide politics. Different from the western liberals' political claims, his "new foreign king" theory is actually a kind of "political and religious unity" theory.
