美国启蒙时期政治思想的实践特质

【摘要】：殖民地时期的美国承袭了欧洲近代启蒙中流行的理性、人权、自由、平等、"主权在民"等观念,但赋予了它们不同于欧洲的内涵。这些独特的内涵显示美国早期政治思想的实践特质,而此特质使美国人善于以协调、妥协和渐进的方式解决政治生活中的冲突。美国政治思想的实践性首先来源于其自治的生活实践,自治经验又使他们倾向于阅读具有现实主义色彩的著作。另外,美国政论家多有固定职业,其现实生活的背景也决定了美国政论文的实践色彩。本研究同时显示,"自由""平等""人权"等现代政治概念并无一成不变的内涵,其要义在于符合人民的需求,能够整合共同体民众的认知。
[Abstract]:During the colonial period, the United States inherited the concepts of rationality, human rights, freedom, equality and "sovereignty in the people", which were popular in modern European enlightenment, but gave them different connotations from Europe. These unique connotations show the practical characteristics of early American political ideas, which enable Americans to resolve conflicts in political life in a coordinated, compromise and gradual manner. The practicality of American political thought comes from its practice of autonomous life, and the experience of autonomy makes them tend to read works with realistic color. In addition, American political commentators have a fixed occupation, and the background of their real life also determines the practical color of American political papers. At the same time, this study shows that the modern political concepts such as "freedom", "equality", "human rights" and so on do not have the same connotation, but the main point is to meet the needs of the people and to integrate the cognition of the common people.
