[Abstract]:Bibliotheca Sinica, first published in Paris in 1881, was translated into Chinese Bibliotheca before publication. The editor is Henri Cordiern (1849-1925), a famous French sinologist who won the Lillian Prize of the French Academy in 1880, the founder of the important Orientalist journal, Toung Pao.In 2016, the Chinese Book Company published a Chinese translation of the book. This book is a general account of Chinese literature in the west from the middle of the 16th century to 1924, including the related works in various European languages
