一部颇具学术价值的地域宗教史——《天津宗教史》简评

【摘要】：正宗教是一个影响广泛而深入的社会现象,开展宗教和宗教史研究具有很强的现实意义。新中国成立特别是改革开放以来,宗教界人士和理论工作者在贯彻党和政府的宗教政策,开展宗教研究,探讨和推动宗教与社会主义社会相适应方面,取得了可喜的成绩。我们高兴地看到,继《上海宗教史》、云南、河北宗教史系列丛书出版发行后,李新建、濮文起主编的《天津宗教史》又和读者见面了。全书六章,分述天津佛教、道教、伊斯兰教、天主教、基督教及明清时期天津的民间教派和民间信仰;另有四个附录:"天津东正教、犹太教、锡克教";"天津宗教大事记";"新中国成立后天津宗教团体文献";"参考书目"。该书以唯物史观为指导,结构严整、内涵丰富、阐述深刻、可读性强,具有较好的学术理论价值和实践应用价值。该书有如下三个特点:
