【摘要】：本文对"科学"一词在中日两国的早期使用情况进行了考察。文章指出,个别工具书和一些学者的认识错误,并确认:1、尽管西学东渐之前"科学"一词在汉语文献中出现的频率不高,但仍有学者间或使用;2、西学东渐之前,"科学"一词多指"科举之学",偶尔也可解作"分科之学";3、目前,"科学"一词在日本的使用最早只能追溯到江户时代末期的兰学家高野长英。文章最后断定,"科学"乃是中国本来就有的词语,并非从日本引进的外来语。
[Abstract]:This paper examines the early use of the word "science" in China and Japan. The article points out that the understanding of individual books and some scholars' mistakes, and confirm: 1, although the previous word "science" in Chinese literature in the frequency is not high, but there are still scholars or use; 2, the East before the word "science" refers to the "imperial examination", occasionally the solution of "branch of learning"; 3, at present, the word "science" in Japan is the earliest date only to the blue end of the Edo period by Takano Longyoung. At the end of the article, it was concluded that "science" is a Chinese word, not a foreign language introduced from Japan.
