翻译与文化视角下的日汉双语英语外来词对比研究

【摘要】：本文试图通过翻译与文化视角对日语与汉语两种语言中英源外来词进行比较研究,从而阐明由源语文化和译入语文化的相对地位所引起的外来词翻译策略的不同以及其内在原因。 论文将功能翻译理论与劳伦斯·韦努蒂提出的“归化”和“异化”两种翻译策略相结合,指出采取何种翻译策略与译入语翻译目的以及文化地位紧密联系。在案例研究中,作者从翻译策略和文化地位的关系出发,对日汉英源外来词的产生历史以及不同翻译策略的选择进行了分析,最后提出外来词的翻译策略是由译入语的文化地位以及由此引起的该文化的内在诉求所决定的。
