[Abstract]:Professor Michael Henley Haim died on September 29th 2012 after years of fighting cancer. The Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Global Forum, The American Writing Society and others wrote in tribute to the memory of this distinguished scholar. A great translator. One consensus is that Michael Henley Haim is undoubtedly one of the greatest translators in the world. His generous and sincere character and dedication have influenced so many people over the past half century. Mr. Heym's achievements in international literary translation are very little.
