口译中跨文化语用失误的功能对等理论视角研究

【摘要】：进入21世纪，中国与其他国家的交流比以往任何时候都要频繁，全球化已经成为当今世界形势的关键词。跨文化交际在这个经济与科技快速发展的时代扮演着越来越重要的角色，而口译活动也在不同语言与文化背景的人们交流中起着不可或缺的作用。在口译过程中，译员经常会忽略文化和语用的因素，而这些失误又会导致对于源语的错误解码和错误理解，甚至会造成严重的交际失败。口译者在跨文化交际的过程中起着桥梁作用，因此一名优秀的口译者必须具有良好的跨文化交际意识和跨文化交际能力。译员在自我能力提高的训练中注重跨文化语用失误的研究，对于自己业务能力的提高起着推动作用。本论文的创新点在于，口译的研究一直局限于口译者的语言能力和口译技巧等方面，很少有研究是从跨文化交际的角度来审视口译。不同的文化和语言，导致了交际过程中出现很多障碍。对于背景知识的理解有误，甚至用本民族的文化去审视另一种文化，同样会带来交际的失败。因此，本文以奈达的功能对等理论为理论依据，介绍了语用失误的定义，阐述了语用能力和语用失误的概念及运用功能对等理论来分析口译中跨文化语用失误的可行性。本文运用一系列的实例来说明由于不了解文化习俗的对等导致的语用失误，从强调“套话”和文化的负迁移两个方面来分析失误。紧接着从忽略文化相关对等失误、不同思维方式对等失误以及各自文化定位不同的对等失误等方面分析了口译中常见的跨文化语用失误，并试探性的提出一些弥补策略，旨在于提高译员的口译质量，，为跨文化交际水平的提高做出一点贡献。
[Abstract]:In the 21st century, the communication between China and other countries is more frequent than ever. Globalization has become the key word of the present world situation. Cross-cultural communication plays a more and more important role in this era of rapid economic and technological development, and interpretation also plays an indispensable role in the communication between people from different language and cultural backgrounds. In the process of interpreting, the interpreters often ignore the cultural and pragmatic factors, and these mistakes will lead to the error decoding and misunderstanding of the source language, and even cause serious communication failure. Interpreters play a bridge role in the process of cross-cultural communication, so an excellent interpreter must have good cross-cultural communication awareness and cross-cultural communication competence. In the training of self-competence, translators pay attention to the study of cross-cultural pragmatic failure, which plays an important role in improving their professional competence. The innovation of this thesis lies in the fact that the study of interpreting has been limited to the interpreters' language competence and interpreting skills, and few studies have examined interpreting from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. Different cultures and languages lead to many obstacles in the process of communication. Misunderstanding of background knowledge, or even examining another culture with one's own culture, will also lead to communication failure. Therefore, based on Nida's functional equivalence theory, this paper introduces the definition of pragmatic failure, expounds the concepts of pragmatic competence and pragmatic failure, and analyzes the feasibility of cross-cultural pragmatic failure in interpreting by using functional equivalence theory. This paper uses a series of examples to illustrate the pragmatic failures caused by the lack of understanding of the equivalence of cultural customs, and analyzes the failures from two aspects: the emphasis on "stereotyping" and the negative transfer of culture. Then, this paper analyzes the common cross-cultural pragmatic failures in interpreting from the aspects of neglecting culture-related equivalence errors, equivalence failures of different modes of thinking and different cultural positioning errors, and puts forward some tentative strategies for making up for them. The purpose of this paper is to improve the interpretation quality of interpreters and to contribute to the improvement of intercultural communication.
