刘重德翻译原则及其应用研究

刘重德教授不仅是著名翻译实践家，而且是杰出翻译理论家，因其“信达切”三原则在翻译界享有盛名。虽然不少学者对“信达切”翻译原则进行了研究，但把这三个翻译原则同刘教授的翻译实践结合起来加以研究的成果却十分罕见。因此，本研究很有必要，很有意义。本文首先简介刘重德的生平与其职业生涯，指出研究背景、研究意义和论文结构。其次简要回顾关于“信达切”三原则的研究现状，将这三原则与严复、泰特勒的翻译原则作了比较，然后深入探讨“信达切”三原则及其可行性。最后将八二版《爱玛》译文和九三版《爱玛》译文进行比较，分析两个译本中大量的典型例子，从而得出以下结论：九三版《爱玛》译本比八二版《爱玛》译本更加“信于内容，达如其分，切合风格”，因为刘教授将“信达切”三原则更加卓有成效地运用于九三版《爱玛》译本的翻译。该研究旨在论证“信达切”三原则的实用性。显然，望本研究有助于我们更好地了解“信达切”翻译原则，有助于我们在翻译实践中更加有效地应用“信达切”翻译原则。
