【摘要】：对美的追求者来说,人们推论不出他认识世界事实上是否如他在心灵中想象的东西,也推论不出他是否通过类似的观念或活跃的直觉努力以审辨的行为来估价它的存在。但美的鉴赏作为美,不是由这样的审辨行为产生出来,而是由视觉和活跃的直觉产生出来的,它停留在我们心中——那“富丽的、新奇的、可赞赏的、光辉的”直觉……
[Abstract]:To the suitor of beauty, one cannot infer whether he knows the world in fact as he imagines in his heart, Nor can it be inferred whether he tries to judge its existence by a similar idea or an active intuition. But aesthetic appreciation as beauty is not the result of such an act of judgment. It is created by vision and active intuition, and it lingers in our hearts the "rich, novel, admirable, glorious" intuition.
