【摘要】：翻译是一项复杂的交流活动,历史悠久,就像巴贝尔塔一样古老。而译者作为活动中一个决定因素扮演着不可替代、必不可少的角色。他们在不同的语言间进行语码转换,用目标语对原文的内容及精神进行翻版。然而,传统的翻译理论没有充分认识到译者在翻译活动中的地位。许多学者持有这样一种观点,认为译者就应该像忠实的仆人一样,完全保持被动和中立。译者要么尽量靠近原作者,要么尽量靠近目标语读者。其结果是,有一方甚至双方都对译者和译著不满。这把译者推入了进退两难的境地。本文旨在研究译者的角色。从上个世纪七十年代以来,越来越多的研究者和学者已经注意到了译者在翻译活动中的主体性。进入九十年代,一些研究者提出了翻译研究的文化转向,这对译者提出了更高的要求。本文在这些研究基础上提出译者在翻译过程中扮演着多重角色。首先,译者要像读者一样对原文进行仔细的研究,但又不是一个普通的读者;其次,译者要选择合适的翻译策略,扮演着一个决策者的角色;然后,译者要用目标语进行再表达,再创作,扮演着作者的角色。在翻译研究的文化转向中,译者成了两种语言和两种文化的中介者。于是,本文提出了译者的另一个角色---文化中介者。为了处理不同的文化因素,译者应该具备文化意识和文化敏感性。大卫·卡坦提出了“文化敏感性的发展模式”,认为从普通译者到文化中介者要经历几个阶段。也就是说,文化中介者是高级的译者。本文以毛泽东诗词作为语料,分析译者在翻译过程中的读者、决策者、作者的角色以及在翻译的文化转向中译者文化中介者的角色。因为诗歌是最难翻译的文体,所以通过分析研究毛诗的翻译过程及文化因素,本文就能更加清楚、更有说服力地论证译者的角色。译者研究已然成了当代翻译研究的重点。
[Abstract]:Translation is a complex communication activity with a long history, just as ancient as Babel, and the translator plays an irreplaceable role as a decisive factor in the activity. Essential roles. They use code-switching between different languages to reproduce the content and spirit of the original. However, traditional translation theories do not fully recognize the role of translators in translation activities. Many scholars hold the view that translators should be like faithful servants. The translator is either as close as possible to the original author or as close as possible to the target reader. One or both parties are dissatisfied with the translator and the translator, which puts the translator in a dilemma. Since -30s, more and more researchers and scholars have paid attention to the translator's subjectivity in translation activities. Some researchers have put forward the cultural turn of translation studies, which puts forward higher requirements for translators. Based on these studies, this paper points out that translators play many roles in the process of translation. The translator should study the original text as carefully as the reader, but he is not an ordinary reader. Secondly, the translator should choose the appropriate translation strategy and play the role of decision maker. Then, the translator should use the target language to re-express and create, and play the role of the author. In the cultural turn of translation studies, the translator becomes the intermediary of two languages and two cultures. This paper proposes another role of the translator-- the cultural mediator to deal with different cultural factors. Translators should have cultural awareness and cultural sensitivity. David Kattan proposed a "model for the development of cultural sensitivity," arguing that there are several stages to go through from an ordinary translator to a cultural intermediary. That is to say. Cultural mediators are high-level translators. Taking Mao Zedong's poems as the corpus, this paper analyzes the readers and decision makers of the translator in the process of translation. The author's role and the role of the translator's cultural intermediary in the cultural turn of translation. Since poetry is the most difficult style to translate, this paper can make it clearer by analyzing the translation process and cultural factors of Mao's poems. The translator studies have become the focus of contemporary translation studies.
