【摘要】：本翻译实践报告原文选自美国当代著名作家乔治桑德斯的新作、短篇小说集《十二月十日》(Tenth of December, Random House,2013)中的三篇短篇小说《父亲的挂杆》《奥·如斯顿》《行侠仗义，虽败犹荣》。本文选择该语料作为研究对象的目的和意义首先在于推介优秀外国文学作品、提供交流学习机会。再者，读者在欣赏文学著作的过程中可以激发想象力，提升审美能力。译者在翻译原文及撰写实践报告的同时将研究生学习期间所学专业知识同具体实践相结合，将胡庚申的“翻译适应选择论”作为实践的指导理论，遵循“选择性适应”与“适应性选择”的翻译原则，，对选译的三篇小说翻译进行研究。报告记录了此次翻译实践的整个过程，包括译前准备和译中表达及翻译质量控制三个阶段的操作与实施情况，并对翻译中碰到的标题翻译、词汇翻译、句子层面及文化缺损四个方面的问题进行归纳、梳理，同时依托翻译理论，对此次翻译实践中的个别案例和翻译难点进行了分析并探索解决办法。文章还总结了翻译体会和思考，分析本次翻译实践中存在的不足，并对翻译实践提出建议。
[Abstract]:This translation practice report is from the new work of George Sanders, a famous contemporary American writer, in the collection of short stories, "December 10th" (tenth of December). Three short stories in Random Householder, "Father's hanging", "O'Ruston", "chivalrous". The purpose and significance of choosing this corpus as the object of study lies first in the introduction of excellent foreign literary works and in providing opportunities for exchange and study. In the process of appreciating literary works, readers can stimulate imagination and enhance aesthetic ability. While translating the original text and writing practical reports, the translator combines the professional knowledge learned during the postgraduate study with the specific practice. Taking Hu Gengshen's Theory of Translation adaptation Choice as the guiding theory of practice, he follows the translation principles of "selective adaptation" and "Adaptive Choice". This paper studies the translation of the three selected novels. The report records the whole process of the translation practice, including the operation and implementation of the three stages of pre-translation preparation and translation expression and translation quality control. It also summarizes and combs the four problems encountered in translation, including title translation, lexical translation, sentence level and cultural defect, while relying on translation theory. This paper analyzes the individual cases and translation difficulties in this translation practice and explores the solutions. It also summarizes the translation experience and thinking, and analyzes the shortcomings in this translation practice. Some suggestions on translation practice are also put forward.
