论中国当代艺术策展人的本土艺术价值取向

【摘要】:中国艺术生态结构在当代呈现出一个十分重要的现象,就是中国当代艺术策展人现象。20世纪90年代开始,艺术策展人概念被引入中国大陆艺术界并广泛采用。它的出现源于当代艺术的多样态发展,强烈地要求艺术领域能敏感地反映出社会与文化的问题。因此,具有不同背景的人,诸如艺术史、艺术批评、艺术管理、图书馆学、博物馆学等行业的人士纷纷走向策展行业,策划组织各种具有探索性的当代艺术展。随着“当代艺术”体系在中国的建构,“策展人”逐渐成为中国艺术产业链中不可或缺的环节,渐渐从实务层次走向理论层面,开始建立自身行业的知识体系,此时它的精神价值取向就必然地成为中国当代艺术策展人的灵魂所在。 本文研究的核心和重心是中国当代艺术策展人的本土价值取向。策展工作对象的主体是展览,而展览的立意便是展览中的本土艺术价值取向,也就是展览的立场。要实现策展人的文化自觉,前提就是要实现策展人的价值自觉,而其核心则是本土艺术价值取向的确立。如果没有本土艺术价值为铺垫,在全球化、多元化的艺术进程中,中国当代艺术策展人将失去自身的文化身份。然而,20世纪80年代以来,中国社会政治、经济、文化诸领域都发生了外向型的转变,交流的频繁使得中国的艺术从形式、语言、风格、内容到历史、理论、思潮、实践都在不断地、迅速地、全面地进行着变革。尤其是全球一体化思潮的介入,大众消费文化和商业社会的兴起,以及高科技数字化虚拟空间的发展,使得中国的展览中侵入了西方意识形态,这样,中国的策展人就会成为西方在中国寻找的文化掮客,按照西方的价值取向和话语方式进行策展。 因此,我们必须从西方的价值取向和话语方式中脱身出来,真正回到中国本土价值的立场,促使中国当代策展人转向具有本土价值理想的行业知识分子的角色,也使他们的视角更趋向于“国际”的宏观范畴,进而成为国际语境中对本土价值孜孜以求的探索者。 本文拟以“中国当代艺术策展人”与“本土艺术价值”为评述载体,以“中国当代艺术策展人”为研究对象,以中国20世纪80年代以来的展览为研究个案,从中寻找中国当代艺术策展人与本土价值结合的发展痕迹,考察它们互为动因、互相影响的基本过程,以期对中国当代策展人的双适应双发展起到一定的促进作用,并为中国当代策展行业的理论研究略尽微力。
[Abstract]:The ecological structure of Chinese art presents a very important phenomenon in contemporary times, that is, the phenomenon of curators of contemporary Chinese art, which began on 90s of the 20th century. The concept of art curator has been introduced and widely adopted in mainland China. Its emergence stems from the diverse development of contemporary art and strongly demands that the art field be sensitive to social and cultural problems. People from fields such as art history, art criticism, art management, library science, and museology have one after another gone to the exhibition industry. With the construction of the "contemporary art" system in China, the "curator" has gradually become an indispensable link in the Chinese art industry chain, gradually moving from the practical level to the theoretical level. Starting to establish the knowledge system of its own industry, its spiritual value orientation will inevitably become the soul of Chinese contemporary art curators. The core and focus of this study is the local value orientation of the curators of contemporary Chinese art. The main body of the curators of the exhibition is the exhibition, and the purpose of the exhibition is the value orientation of the local art in the exhibition. That is, the stand of the exhibition. To realize the cultural consciousness of the curator, the premise is to realize the value consciousness of the curator, and its core is the establishment of the local artistic value orientation. In the process of diversified art, the curators of contemporary Chinese art will lose their own cultural identity. However, since 80s of the 20th century, there have been extroverted changes in the political, economic and cultural fields of China. The frequency of communication has made Chinese art, from form, language, style, content to history, theory, ideological trend and practice, constantly, rapidly, and comprehensively undergoing changes, especially the intervention of the global integration trend of thought. The rise of mass consumer culture and commercial society, as well as the development of high-tech digital virtual space, have made Chinese exhibitions intrude into Western ideology, so that Chinese curators will become cultural brokers that the West is looking for in China. According to the western value orientation and discourse way to carry on the development. Therefore, we must extricate ourselves from the western value orientation and discourse mode, return to the position of Chinese local value, and urge the contemporary Chinese curators to turn to the role of the intellectual in the field with the ideal of local value. It also makes them tend to the macroscopic category of "international", and become the explorers of local value in the international context. This paper will take "Chinese Contemporary Art curator" and "Native Art value" as the comment carrier, take "Chinese Contemporary Art curator" as the research object, and take the exhibition since 1980s as the research case. Looking for the development trace of the combination of Chinese contemporary art curators and local values, examining the basic process of their mutual motivation and mutual influence, in order to play a certain role in promoting the dual adaptation and development of Chinese contemporary curators. And for the development of China's contemporary industry of theoretical research a little effort.
