《生死疲劳》英译项目报告

【摘要】：莫言是中国当代最富有活力和创造力的优秀作家之一,也是首个获得诺贝尔文学奖的中国作家,其作品正受到越来越多的关注。莫言作品中出现的大量的文化信息以及民间口语被国内外译者视为翻译过程中的棘手问题。由于文化差异,处理跨文化、跨语言的信息传递难免出现不同程度的信息失落或扭曲等问题,这就要求译者根据具体的情况选择合适的翻译策略。本项目报告选取《生死疲劳》的部分章节进行翻译,以创造性叛逆为理论依据,通过小说中文化信息和民间口语的翻译实践,以具体案例来探讨《生死疲劳》中文化信息和民间口语的具体翻译方法,并结合葛浩文译本的分析,论证了文学作品翻译过程中创造性叛逆的重要性和必要性。本报告通过分析、研究和总结,希望在提高自身文学翻译能力的同时,能为今后类似的翻译活动提供一定参考和帮助,达到最大程度地传达文本信息的最终目的。
[Abstract]:Mo Yan is one of the most energetic and creative writers in China. He is also the first Chinese writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. His works are attracting more and more attention. The large amount of cultural information and folk spoken language in Mo Yan's works are regarded by translators at home and abroad as thorny problems in the process of translation. Due to cultural differences, it is inevitable that different degrees of information loss or distortion occur in information transmission across cultures and languages, which requires translators to choose appropriate translation strategies according to specific circumstances. This project report selects some chapters of Life and death fatigue to be translated, based on the theory of creative treason, through the translation practice of cultural information and folk spoken language in the novel. This paper discusses the concrete translation methods of cultural information and folk spoken language in "Life and death fatigue", and discusses the importance and necessity of creative treason in the process of translating literary works. Through analysis, research and summary, this report hopes to improve its literary translation ability, at the same time, it can provide some reference and help for similar translation activities in the future, so as to achieve the ultimate goal of conveying the text information to the maximum extent.
