[Abstract]:Ongoing (10 October 2012) Mr. Wen Yicheng, a professor of art history at Stanford University, delivered a keynote speech on "meeting the Qing Dynasty: an International Symposium on Art Exchange between China and the West", sponsored by Peking University and Western University of the United States. The new vision and strong methodological color have aroused the great interest of the participating international scholars. This is an unpublished speech, which is first translated to the reader.
