关联翻译理论观照下《生死疲劳》中文化负载词翻译研究

【摘要】：在跨文化时代，语言翻译在不同文化的沟通中，越来越重要。中国文学作品的翻译出版是中国文化走出去的一个重要组成部分。文学作品的翻译研究，尤其是对优秀译作中译者使用翻译策略和方法的研究对中国经典文学著作及现当代文学作品走向世界至关重要。莫言荣获2012年诺贝尔文学奖为中国文学作品走出去提供了一个成功的典范。莫言是作品被翻译成外文最多，也是最精准的作家，莫言获奖，翻译功不可没。《生死疲劳》是莫言的代表作之一，于2008年被葛浩文翻译成英文，2009年获得纽曼文学奖，它的主题与诺贝尔奖评审委员会对莫言的授词“将现实和幻想、历史和社会角度结合在一起”高度契合。由于其特殊的历史背景和写作主题，生死疲劳中出现了诸多负有时代特征的文化负载词，这类词成了翻译的难点，也是翻译成功与否的关键。本文将借助关联翻译理论的研究成果，对《生死疲劳》中的文化负载词进行研究。基于以往对文化负载词及其翻译的研究，本文对文化负载词内涵进行了界定，从《生死疲劳》前20章中提取了文化负载词176条，依据奈达对文化因素的分类，把其分为五类进行研究，借助关联翻译理论对其中典型译例进行了分析，总结出了译者使用的翻译方法，试提出文化负载词翻译准则：译者应正确处理最大关联和最佳关联的关系；译文应保留原文命题与语境假设之间的最佳关联，，以期对中国文学作品走出去提供借鉴。
[Abstract]:In the cross-cultural era, language translation is becoming more and more important in the communication of different cultures. Translation and publication of Chinese literary works is an important part of Chinese culture. Translation studies of literary works, especially the translation strategies and methods used by translators in excellent translations, are of great importance to the development of Chinese classical literary works and modern and contemporary literary works. Mo Yan's winning the 2012 Nobel Prize for Literature provides a successful model for Chinese literature. Mo Yan is one of Mo Yan's masterpieces, whose works have been translated into foreign languages most frequently and are the most accurate writers. Mo Yan won the award. Life and death fatigue is one of Mo Yan's masterpieces. He was translated into English in 2008 and won the Newman Prize for Literature in 2009. Its theme is highly compatible with the Nobel Prize jury's speech to Mo Yan, which combines reality with fantasy, history and society. Due to its special historical background and writing theme, many culture-loaded words with the characteristics of the times have appeared in the life and death fatigue, which has become the difficulty of translation and the key to the success of translation. Based on the research results of relevance translation theory, this paper studies culture-loaded words in Life and death fatigue. Based on previous studies on culture-loaded words and their translation, this paper defines the connotations of culture-loaded words, extracts 176 culture-loaded words from the first 20 chapters of "Life and death fatigue", and classifies cultural factors according to Nida's classification of cultural factors. It is divided into five categories, and the typical translation examples are analyzed with the help of relevance translation theory, and the translation methods used by the translator are summarized. This paper puts forward the translation criterion of culture-loaded words: the translator should correctly handle the relationship between the maximum relevance and the best relevance, and the translation should retain the best relevance between the original proposition and the contextual hypothesis, in order to provide a reference for the Chinese literary works to go abroad.
