温克尔曼艺术思想研究

【摘要】:约翰·约阿希姆·温克尔曼(1717-1768)是18世纪德国启蒙时期的一位卓越的艺术史家、美学理论家和鉴赏家。他推崇古典美,赞赏古希腊艺术“高贵的单纯和静穆的伟大”,号召人们学习和模仿古希腊艺术,并从社会学的角度分析希腊艺术发展的基础和原因,为艺术史的写作提供了新的范本,同时他还第一次用风格的形式对希腊、埃及的艺术进行了划分,这都是温克尔曼在艺术史上的伟大创举,因而也被冠以“近代艺术史之父”的美称;另外,他在美学上的造诣也是不容忽视的,他第一次把美学的研究拓宽到造型艺术的领域中,他主张的理想美等观点直接影响了后来的歌德、赫尔德和黑格尔等美学家和大卫、卡诺瓦、托瓦尔森等一批艺术家,为德国古典主义的形成奠定了良好的基础。温克尔曼的艺术思想主要集中在他的名著《古代艺术史》以及其他六篇重要文稿中,这些论著的出版和发表在当时的欧洲引起了强烈的反响,掀起了人们研究希腊罗马艺术的狂潮,使民主自由的希腊精神深入人心,有力地刺激了人们思想的觉醒。 本文着重对温克尔曼主要的美学思想、艺术史观点以及艺术方法论等理论进行研究,并探讨了温克尔曼艺术思想对他人及后世有哪些深远影响。全文分为八章,紧紧围绕向古希腊艺术学习和模仿这条主线对温克尔曼的艺术思想进行梳理。温克尔曼艺术思想的核心是什么?他为什么如此推崇古希腊的艺术?古希腊的艺术在哪些方面深深吸引和打动了温克尔曼?温克尔曼对古希腊艺术推崇的背后有着什么样的深刻含义?温克尔曼又是如何在他历史的写作中融进自己美学观点的?他对后世有哪些重要影响和贡献?他的思想有哪些局限?这些问题虽然不是全部,但都是我们在研究温克尔曼艺术思想过程中需要回答的问题。本文在对这些问题进行阐发的同时,也对国内鲜有人关注的内容作了概述和简要讨论。这些内容都是非常有价值的,对全面深入地考察温克尔曼的艺术思想有着重要意义,它们包括温克尔曼在《古代艺术史》中除希腊以外有关其他各国的艺术思想及美学观点等。
[Abstract]:John Joachim Winkelmann 1717-1768) is an outstanding art historian, aesthetic theorist and connoisseur in the 18 th century German Enlightenment. He praised the classical beauty, praised the ancient Greek art "noble simplicity and quiet great", called on people to learn and imitate the ancient Greek art, and from the perspective of sociology to analyze the basis and reasons for the development of Greek art. It provided a new model for the writing of art history, and for the first time he divided the art of Greece and Egypt in style, which was Winkelmann's great creation in the history of art. Therefore, he is also known as "the Father of Modern Art History." in addition, his aesthetic attainments cannot be ignored. For the first time, he broadened the study of aesthetics into the field of plastic arts. His ideas of ideal beauty directly influenced later aestheticists such as Goethe, Herd and Hegel, and a group of artists, such as David, Canova and Towelson, which laid a good foundation for the formation of German classicism. Winkelmann's artistic thoughts were mainly concentrated in his masterpiece, the History of Ancient Art, and six other important manuscripts, the publication and publication of which aroused a strong response in Europe at that time. It set off a frenzy to study the art of Greece and Rome, which made the spirit of democracy and freedom deeply rooted in people's hearts and stimulated the awakening of people's thoughts. This paper focuses on Winkelmann's main aesthetic thoughts, views on art history and art methodology, and probes into the profound influence of Winkelmann's art thoughts on others and later generations. The full text is divided into eight chapters, closely around the ancient Greek art learning and imitation of the main line of Winckelmann's artistic thought combed. What is the core of Winkelmann's artistic thought? Why does he admire the art of ancient Greece so much? In what ways did ancient Greek art attract and impress Winkelmann? What kind of profound meaning does Winkman have behind the worship of ancient Greek art? How did Winkelmann incorporate his aesthetic point of view into his historical writing? What are his important influences and contributions to future generations? What are the limitations of his mind? These questions, though not all, are the questions we need to answer in the course of studying Winkelmann's artistic thought. At the same time, this paper gives a summary and a brief discussion on the contents that few people pay attention to. These contents are of great value and are of great significance to the comprehensive and in-depth investigation of Winkelmann's artistic thoughts, including the artistic thoughts and aesthetic viewpoints of other countries except Greece in the History of Ancient Art by Winkman.
