格罗塞艺术起源观研究

【摘要】:就艺术的起源问题本身而言,至今已有无数位研究者及数不清的著作。德国著名艺术史家格罗塞(Ernst Grosse1862~1927)的《艺术的起源》一书,发表于1894年。在欧洲乃至世界上,这是一本较早研究艺术的起源和发展的专著,对后世影响深远。如奥地利艺术史家赫尔内斯、德国史学家屈恩等,都对其十分推崇。俄国马克思主义美学家普列汉诺夫在其名著《论艺术——没有地址的信》中,也大量引用这部著作里的观点,并对格罗塞的研究作出了极高的评价。在《艺术的起源》一书中,格罗塞在吸取前人成果的基础上,运用逻辑与事实相结合的方法,通过自己的研究,做了大量考证,对原始民族的各种艺术形式做了系统而辩证的探讨和解释,并提出了新的观点。他的人类学方法开创了研究艺术起源问题的新角度,被后来的许多学者奉为经典,并经常引述其中的观点和例证。这些看法,立足于唯物主义,是科学的,先进的。尽管格罗塞作为艺术人类学的先驱,他的方法是值得学习的,但是,格罗塞毕竟生活在19世纪,他的许多观点依然是不成熟的,是受到当时条件的局限的,他无法预测到后来艺术学、考古学以及人类学、民俗学方面的新的研究成果。在今天,我们的研究水平和条件比格罗塞的时代前进了很多,资料也比当时完善很多,而我们读格罗塞的时候,能够感受到,他的艺术起源研究固然有很多缺陷,很多理论已经过时,但是其研究方法和许多研究成果至今依然具有极其重要的借鉴意义。迄今为止,大部分对格罗塞的研究基本上都是把眼光放在某一种观点或者某一部分的研究成果上,全面系统研究格罗塞艺术起源观的理论的专门论著相对较少。 本文从格罗塞《艺术的起源》一书入手,目的就是对其全书的主要内容做出研究和分析,全面地论述其对原始民族艺术的各个门类研究的主要观点,对其成就和对当今具有借鉴意义的一些观点及研究方法从艺术人类学的创立、经济社会与艺术起源的关系、艺术起源的多元论以及他对原始艺术本质和作用的正确认识等几个方面进行总结和系统把握,最后对其理论的一些重要缺陷和已经落后于当今研究成果的观点,即艺术科学的建立与人种学研究的不足、现代原始民族艺术研究方向的片面性、现代人对原始艺术理解的局限性和“纯粹的乐趣”观的缺点方面加以甄别和反思,从而对格罗塞的艺术起源观做出一个完整客观的评价。
[Abstract]:As far as the origin of art itself is concerned, there have been countless researchers and countless works. The Origin of Art, by German art historian Ernst Grosse1862~1927, published in 1894. In Europe and even in the world, this is an early monograph on the origin and development of art, which has a profound influence on later generations. For example, Austrian art historian Herr A. Nuis, German historian Kuhn, and so on, are highly respected. The Russian Marxist aesthetician, Plainov, in his masterpiece on Art-A letter without address, also quotes a lot from this work, and makes a very high evaluation of Grosser's research. In the book Origin of Art, Grosser, on the basis of absorbing the achievements of his predecessors, uses the method of combining logic with fact, and makes a lot of textual research through his own research. This paper makes a systematic and dialectical discussion and explanation of the various artistic forms of the primitive nation, and puts forward a new point of view. His anthropological methods have opened up a new angle of study on the origin of art, which has been regarded as a classic by many later scholars, whose viewpoints and examples are often quoted. These views, based on materialism, are scientific and advanced. Although Grosser was a pioneer in art anthropology, his method was worth learning, but Grosser lived in the 19th century, and many of his views were still immature and limited by the conditions at that time. He could not predict new research in art, archaeology, and anthropology and folklore. Today, our research level and conditions are much better than those of Grosser's time, and the materials are much better than at that time. When we read Grosser, we can feel that his study of the origin of art has many defects. Many theories are out of date, but their research methods and achievements are still of great significance. Up to now, most of the researches on Grosser have focused on a certain point of view or a part of the research results, and there are relatively few specialized works on the theory of Grosser's view of artistic origin in a comprehensive and systematic way. This paper begins with Grosser's book Origin of Art, the purpose of which is to study and analyze the main contents of his book, and to expound his main viewpoints on various categories of primitive national art. From the foundation of artistic anthropology, the relationship between economy and society and the origin of art, The pluralism of the origin of art and his correct understanding of the essence and function of primitive art are summarized and systematically grasped. Finally, some important defects of his theory and the viewpoint that he has lagged behind the current research results. That is, the establishment of art science and the deficiency of ethnography research, the one-sidedness of the research direction of modern primitive national art, the limitation of modern people's understanding of primitive art and the shortcomings of "pure fun" view. In order to make a complete and objective evaluation of Grosser's view of artistic origin.
