【摘要】：莎剧不仅是文学上的瑰宝,更是文化中的传奇,而其也因丰富多样的文学修辞手段而闻名于世。随着修辞学和语言学的发展,比喻己被人们从更广义的角度进行了界定,所以本文讨论的比喻修辞格包括明喻,暗喻,转喻,提喻等。作为一种积极有效的修辞手段,比喻在莎剧中出现的频率相当之高。因此,把莎剧中的比喻作为研究对象具有代表性和典型性。把莎剧的比喻翻译好,是忠实地表达莎剧的思想、精神和风格的必然要求。认知语言学的原型范畴理论常简称为原型理论或典型理论,其哲学根源基于维根斯坦(Wittgenstein)的“家族相似性”。原型范畴理论是对经典范畴理论的扬弃,其观点认为范畴化是人类认识世界的一种基本认知方式。原型是范畴内最典型的成员。语境,文化差异,社会发展和个人差异都会影响范畴原型的确定。范畴呈放射状结构,原型位于范畴结构的中心位置。多数范畴呈现的不是单一中心结构,而是多中心结构,即某些范畴通常具有多个原型,原型之间通过家族相似性获得联系。本文以莎剧《麦克白》,《威尼斯商人》和《一报还一报》为语料,运用原型范畴理论分析莎剧中的比喻,发现相似性是比喻建构的基础,喻体的选择与范畴中的原型或典型成员有关。此外,再结合曹未风、英若诚、卞之琳、朱生豪、方平和梁实秋译本,分析各位翻译家的翻译特色,并总结出以下比喻翻译的策略：保留喻体原型、转换喻体原型、保留喻体原型加注释和舍弃喻体原型等四种翻译方法。本文以原型范畴理论为理论基础,对莎剧中的比喻及其翻译进行系统分析。通过追溯原型范畴理论的发展过程,本文认为该理论能为比喻的建构以及比喻翻译的过程提供有力的分析工具,将其运用到莎剧作品研究中可以为莎剧中的比喻及其翻译研究提供新的视角,也希望弥补莎剧比喻汉译的不足。
