从比较语言学角度再探西方艺术定义问题

【摘要】：艺术定义(definition of art)是美学与艺术史研究中一个基础性的问题,它涉及到"艺术"一词的历史概念与词义演变。18世纪美学建构了现代艺术体系,使欧洲文化圈各民族语言中描述"艺术"词语的语义范畴得以确立并沿用至今。但于此之前,该词在不同的欧洲语言中有不尽相同的原初含义。艺术的概念是约定性的文化概念,民族和文化的差异会导致"艺术"概念形成的差别,并在语言中得到反映。本文通过对欧洲不同语族现代语言中"艺术"一词历史概念和语义变化的分析与对比,梳理和总结西方艺术概念发展的特点,尝试从比较语言学角度探究艺术定义的历史问题和文化差异。
[Abstract]:Definition of art (definition of art) is a basic problem in the study of aesthetics and art history. It relates to the historical concept of "art" and the evolution of its meaning.The semantic category of the description of "art" in various national languages of European cultural circle has been established and used today.But before that, the word had different original meanings in different European languages.The concept of art is a conventionally cultural concept, and the difference between nation and culture will lead to the difference of the concept of "art" and be reflected in language.Based on the analysis and comparison of the historical concepts and semantic changes of the word "art" in the modern languages of different languages in Europe, this paper summarizes the characteristics of the development of the western concept of art.This paper attempts to explore the historical problems and cultural differences in the definition of art from the perspective of comparative linguistics.
