试论“况义”的特点

【摘要】: 金尼阁口授、张赓笔传的《况义》是最早专门介绍翻译伊索寓言的集子。明清之际大批传教士来华传教,耶稣会是其中一个重要修会。以利玛窦为代表的耶稣会士在经过不断探索后,选择了补儒易佛的路线。根据对中国传统文化和社会风俗的了解,耶稣会士采取学术传教的重要策略,著述立说,以基督教思想解释并改造传统儒家观念,以达到传播基督教义的目的。《况义》就是这种策略的产物。 “况义”除了是当时一本译著的书名外,还是一种不同于“格义”的比较文学研究方法。“况”之意是“比”,“义者宜也,义者意也,师其意矣,复知其宜。”这种以基督教义阐释古代儒家思想的特点,也是当时中西文化交流的一个特点。本文运用比较文学文学文化关系研究的方法,通过对汉文译本和各种翻译本的比较研究,试图分析《况义》中合儒、补儒与超儒的特点。 本文以耶稣会士适应策略为背景,把金尼阁翻译的汉译本寓言与西方伊索寓言相对照,并对寓言中的基督教思想和儒家传统观念比较分析,试图分析《况义》的特点。本文分为三个部分:第一部分是《况义》的概况,包括它的时代背景、作者、篇目和金尼阁对西方伊索寓言的改编。第二部分是对《况义》的汉文文本的分析,主要是对《况义》中蕴含的基督教思想和儒家传统观念进行比较分析。第三部分是探讨《况义》中的补儒、合儒与超儒。本文试图在前人研究的基础上,对《况义》的文本和特点分析方面有所拓展。
[Abstract]:Jinnige dictation, written by Zhang Geng, is the first collection devoted to the translation of Aesop's fables. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, a large number of missionaries came to China to preach, among which the Jesuit was an important order. The Jesuits, represented by Matteo Ricci, chose the route of supplementing Confucianism after continuous exploration. On the basis of their understanding of Chinese traditional culture and social customs, the Jesuits adopted an important strategy of academic preaching, wrote and said, explaining and transforming traditional Confucian ideas with Christian ideas. In order to achieve the purpose of spreading Christian meaning. It is the product of this strategy. Kuang Yi is not only the title of a translated book at that time, but also a kind of comparative literature research method different from GE Yi. The meaning of "condition" is "compare", "the righteous should also, the righteous will also, the teacher's intention, again know its appropriate." The interpretation of ancient Confucianism by Christian meaning was also a characteristic of the cultural exchange between China and the West at that time. By using the method of comparative literature and cultural relations, this paper attempts to analyze the characteristics of Confucianism, complement Confucianism and surpassing Confucianism in Gongyi through the comparative study of Chinese versions and various translations. Based on the adaptation strategy of Jesuits, this paper contrasts the Chinese fables translated by Ginnege with Aesop's fables in the West, and makes a comparative analysis of the Christian thought and the traditional Confucian ideas in the fables, in an attempt to analyze the characteristics of "Gongyi". This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is an overview of the "Guang Yi", including its background, the author, the title and the adaptation of Aesop's fables in the West. The second part is the analysis of the Chinese text of "Guang Yi", mainly the comparative analysis of the Christian thought and the Confucian traditional idea contained in the "Guang Yi". The third part is to discuss the supplementary Confucianism, the United Confucianism and the super Confucianism in Gongyi. On the basis of previous studies, this paper tries to expand the text and characteristic analysis of "Guang Yi".
