从认知角度探究英汉诗歌中爱情隐喻异同

【摘要】：爱情是人类共同的情感,是情感概念中最基本最重要的情感之一,具有丰富的内涵及一定的抽象性,同时也是人类经验的重要组成部分。由于情感概念具有很强的抽象性,在其分析上存在一定难度。近年来认知语言学的发展推动了“爱情”情感概念的研究,大多认知语言学者及语言学界认为,语言是反映人类共同认知思维体系的重要依据,因此可以通过对于与爱情有关的语言表达分析来了解爱情情感概念化的过程。 本文试图从认知的角度分析研究英语和汉语诗歌中有关“爱情”的情感表述。本文从中国古诗,与英语古诗中选取部分汉语古诗和英文诗歌,然后运用概念隐喻理论对其中关于爱情隐喻的语言表达进行对比分析研究。认知语言学界普遍认为,诗歌语言和日常话语共享同一个认知思维体系,因而本文的研究从对英汉诗歌解析中发现汉语和英语中存在的各自对“爱情”情感概念的认知方式同时总结出他们的共性和各自的差异。通过对比分析本文得出以下发现：在英语与汉语中存在着八种类似隐喻,分别为：“爱情是旅行”“爱情是植物”“爱情是疾病”“爱情是心”“爱情是容器中的液体”“爱情是统一体”“爱情是战争”以及“爱情是春天”八种类似爱情隐喻。以及英语中独有的五种隐喻,他们是“爱情是太阳”“爱情是经济交流”“爱情是魔力”“爱情是有价值的东西”“爱情是神性”以及汉语中五种特有隐喻,“爱情是月亮”“爱情是不可分割的统一体”“爱情是梦”“爱情是丝”“爱情是缘分”。
