纽马克翻译理论下《婚礼的成员》两汉译本的对比研究

古往今来,越来越多西方优秀小说被翻译成中文,吸引了国内大批读者。读者在沉浸故事情节的同时,也了解到西方独特的优秀文化。20世纪美国最重要的作家之一卡森·麦卡勒斯的著作《婚礼的成员》是其最成熟的作品。目前很少有学者对这部小说的两个汉译本进行过研究。本文以《婚礼的成员》的两个汉译本作为研究对象,以纽马克翻译理论的为理论指导进行对比研究。本文主要运用的研究方法为对比分析法。首先本文从人物角色的描写包括肖像描写、语言描写和人物心理活动描写方面进行分析,可以发现周玉军译者主要运用的是语义翻译,更加忠实于原文的句式结构和行文线索,而周钱译者则主要运用的是交际翻译,尤其是在人物语言描写和心理活动描写方面最为典型,该译者在翻译过程中液在一定程度上受到自身母语文化的影响而带有鲜明的翻译特色。在景色描写包括动态和静态描写方面,周玉军译者忠实于原作者基于景色的情感表达,而周钱译者采用交际翻译的方法会产生一些误译的地方。其次,本文还通过举例分析的方法从文化负载词、拟声词和色彩象征词等多个方面探讨两个汉译本的异同,发现周玉军译者在语言传递的准确性上更胜一筹。总体来说,在两个中文版本中发现了一些由于未考虑目标语言...
