《伟大的孤独》（节选）汉译实践报告

　　本翻译项目为《伟大的孤独》汉译实践,研究的是当代美国畅销小说家克里斯汀·汉娜的作品,其作品风格注重表现亲情、家庭价值。该书由圣马丁出版社于2018年2月发行,尚没有中文译本。故事设定在20世纪70年代,讲述一个三口之家到阿拉斯加与世隔绝的荒野中寻找新的开始,在经历生存斗争、爱与失之后懂得生活的真谛。本次翻译实践材料节选《伟大的孤独》的第一章到第三章,约11000字,目标受众为对西方文学感兴趣的中国读者及广大学者。本次实践在保证译文忠实于原文的前提下,使其具有可读性,满足中文读者的阅读习惯和阅读需求。由于中英语言差异,保留原文的写作风格、细致的人物刻画和景色描写,成为本次翻译实践的难点。为此,笔者首先搜集了解翻译项目的背景信息,确立任务目的与意义。然后分析文本特点和写作风格,查询文中相关信息。在功能对等理论指导下,运用词性转换、增译、意译、顺译、逆译等翻译方法实现词汇句子修辞三个层面的对等。通过本次翻译实践,笔者对如何用功能对等理论指导小说翻译有了更深刻的认识。用正确的理论指导实践对译文质量起到重要作用,在进行文学翻译时,要尽可能保留原文风格,并致力于带给目的语读者以相同感受。
