接受美学视角下刘宇昆《三体》英译本研究

　　2008年,刘慈欣的科幻小说《三体》出版并于2015年获得第73届“雨果奖”,这被看作中国科幻小说史上的一座里程碑。2014年,《三体》的英译本由刘宇昆翻译并成功地被西方读者接受,其原因除了原作自身的魅力外,译者刘宇昆“近乎完美”的翻译也功不可没。读者是文学鉴赏活动中不可或缺的一部分,但长期以来被学者忽视。接受美学作为一种文学理论于20世纪60年代在德国兴起,其主要概念包括:读者为中心原则、期待视野、审美距离和意义未定点。接受美学开始关注读者,注重读者的接受过程和作品产生的影响,这是对传统文学理论的挑战。20世纪70年代,接受美学被应用于翻译研究领域。本文拟在接受美学理论的指导下,对《三体》英译本进行分析。从“读者中心原则”和“期待视野”两个方面分析译者在翻译过程中如何实现以读者为中心的原则以及如何满足读者的期待视野。通过对比《三体》原文及译文,笔者发现,在翻译过程中译者坚持他“译者首先要对读者负责”的观点,充分考虑读者中心原则。在篇章结构上,译者调整了原文的篇章结构,以适应西方读者的阅读习惯。在句法层面,考虑到读者的阅读和接受能力,译者转换了源语的句法结构,适应了读者的语言表达习惯。...
