【摘要】：以“五四”新文学为标准所构建的一元文学格局,严重禁锢了人们的思维,鸳鸯蝴蝶派作家也因此一直都被视为文化“逆流”,近代研究也鲜有学者对这一学派作家的翻译活动进行探究。但无法否认,它们确实为外国文学的大量引入做出了不可磨灭的贡献,为中国文学向现代化过渡奠定了一定的基础。周瘦鹃集作家、翻译家和编辑于一身,翻译并创作了大量不同题材的文学作品,为当时引进外国文学作品做出了巨大的贡献,但作为鸳鸯蝴蝶派的代表人物,他的翻译活动缺失客观合理的评价。《礼拜六》这一文学刊物,其前后两百期见证了周瘦鹃的翻译活动由稚嫩趋于成熟这一蜕变过程。这两百期分别处于“新文化运动”时期,即近代中国文化剧烈变动转型的时期。不论从意识形态还是诗学上,周瘦鹃在《礼拜六》前后两百期上刊载的作品都发生了很大的变化,这一变化,实际上是社会思潮的变化,是时代在一份报纸上留下的烙印。勒弗维尔的改写理论为文学翻译的研究提供了新视角,他指出任何翻译活动都不是在真空中进行的,翻译实质上就是一种改写,是一种有意识的操纵行为,这就使得我们可以从文化层面来分析不同历史时期的翻译行为。本研究选取鸳鸯蝴蝶派核心刊物《礼拜六》及其代表作家周瘦鹃作为研究对象,以改写理论为视角,对五四前后两百期中周瘦鹃的翻译活动进行分析,探讨它们对外国文学,思想及文化的选择性引入所做出的贡献,以及与当时主流意识形态和诗学产生的相互影响。
