【摘要】：《众鸟之会》是乔叟所有短诗中最重要也是最具有影响力的一首。它第一次展现了诗人的原创品质以及他对于传统已存诗歌样式的创造性改编。本论文主要探讨了《众鸟之会》中传统和其基于传统的创造，这两方面。在传统方面，该论文主要通过“乔叟的人生经历以及中世纪文学传统”、“传统文学样式：梦幻诗、辩论诗以及爱情问题诗歌”以及“诗歌对于真实历史事件的寓意与其故事的来源”。在对传统的研究以及《众鸟之会》中传统诗歌的元素的研究的基础上，本论文还展现了乔叟的创新之处。对于文本的创新，本文讨论了“喜剧的人物塑造”和“象征主义”这两方面。对于乔叟针对其出处材料的处理，本文主要归纳了“添加”、“删减”、“翻译”以及“自由创作”这几个方面。
[Abstract]:The Society of Birds is the most important and influential of all Chaucer's short poems.
