【摘要】：托马斯·哈代是英国19世纪后期出现的杰出的批判现实主义作家之一。哈代的《还乡》是其著名的“性格与环境小说”之一,是一部真正意义上的悲剧性作品。作者以凝重忧郁的笔调描绘了人物性格与环境的剧烈冲突。作品以英国西南部威赛克斯的埃格敦荒原为背景,描写了五个青年男女不同的命运。作品揭示了,人只能顺应命运的安排,若要反抗命运,只会在命运的泥淖中越陷越深,最后以毁灭而告终。指示语是语言学中一个重要的研究对象,它是语言和语境的关系在语言体系中的反映,是研究语言意义的一个不可或缺的指示性工具。而文学就是由语言构成,文学中的指示语既相互独立,又相互渗透,研究文学作品中的指示语,有助于更好地解读文学作品的主题。在语言学中,指示语的分类有人物、时间、地点、语篇和社会指示语。认知诗学的兴起为文学研究提供了一个全新的跨学科的研究方法,而指示语研究就是其中一个重要组成部分。Peter Stockwell将指示语与文学文本相结合,将指示语分类为感知、空间、时间、关系、文本和创作指示语。本文以指示语理论为理据,通过分析作品《还乡》中的指示语来揭示指示语在文学作品主题方面的构建功能。主要是从感知指示语、关系指示语、文本指示语以及创作指示语等几个方面,通过分析指示词、指示短语和指示句子与主题的关系来达到更加深刻理解文学主题的目的。小说中感知指示语和关系指示语揭示出了人与自然的矛盾是不可避免的；关系指示语阐述了人与人之间的不和谐；文本和创作指示语渲染了小说人物的悲剧命运。作者通过对指示语的研究发现,虽然具有反抗精神的女主人公尤斯塔西亚最后以死亡而告终,但是从某种意义上来说,她回归了荒原,揭示了回归荒原才‘是人们命运的归宿的主题。
[Abstract]:Thomas Hardy was one of the most prominent writers of critical realism that emerged in Britain in late 19th century. Hardy's returning Home was one of his famous novels of character and Environment. It is a tragic work in the true sense. The author depicts the violent conflict between character and environment in a solemn and melancholy style. The work is set in the Edgetown wasteland of Wessex, southwestern England. Five young men and women's different fates are described. The works reveal that people can only adapt to the fate of the arrangement, if you want to resist the fate, will only sink deeper in the quagmire of fate, and finally end in destruction. Deixis is an important research object in linguistics. It is the reflection of the relationship between language and context in the language system, and it is an indispensable indicative tool for studying the meaning of language. Literature is made up of language. The deixis in literature are independent and permeate each other. Studying the deixis in literary works helps to better interpret the theme of literary works. In linguistics, deixis are classified into characters, time, and place. Text and social deixis. The rise of cognitive poetics provides a new interdisciplinary approach to literary research, in which deixis is an important part. Stockwell combines deixis with literary texts. Categorize deixis into perceptual, spatial, temporal, relational, textual and creative deixis. Based on the theory of deixis, this paper reveals the construction function of deixis in literary works by analyzing the deixis in return for Home, mainly from the perspective of perceptual deixis and relational deixis. Text deixis and creative deixis, etc., by analyzing deixis, The relationship between deictic phrases and demonstrative sentences and themes can achieve a deeper understanding of literary themes. In the novel perceptual deixis and relational deixis reveal that the contradiction between man and nature is inevitable. The relation deixis expounds the disharmony between people, the text and the creative deixis exaggerate the tragic fate of the characters in the novel. Although the defiant heroine Eustancia ends in death, in a sense, she returns to the wasteland and reveals that returning to the wasteland is the theme of people's fate.
