【摘要】：曼斯菲尔德被称为是最著名的短篇小说家,她和同时代的詹姆斯·乔伊斯以及弗吉尼亚·伍尔芙一起成为二十世纪二三十年代文学领军人物,她的作品代表着现代主义小说出现发展,她领导了文学使用新的技巧,对英文小说产生了深刻的影响所以被誉为“短篇小说风格大师”。她使用了很多现代主义写作技巧来展示其小说主题与人物性格,这是她小说最重要的特色之一。此论文主要分析了曼斯菲尔德短篇小说现代主义的技巧包括情节淡化特征、意识流、象征主义、多重视角叙述。因为曼斯菲尔德是现代主义小说崛起发展时期的重要作家,她的作品完美展现了小说的现代主义艺术。她打破了传统的小说格局,并没有明显的开端、发展、高潮、结局,而是通过不同片段场景来展示人物内心世界,另外她还使用了顿悟技巧,使人物内心得到升华。象征主义是小说现代主义文学最重要的技巧。曼斯菲尔德娴熟地运用了象征手法展示人物情感,揭示小说主题,通过使用象征手法,曼斯菲尔德设置了很多谜团,更加强调主题,打动读者。她可以将任何事物赋予象征意义出现在其小说中,例如各种植物动物以及自然场景等。另外,不同于传统的全知叙述视角或者单纯的某一视角叙述,曼斯菲尔德使用了一种特别的叙事方法---多重视角叙述。通过这种方式读者可以摆脱叙述者的束缚,而将自己全心投入到小说角色中去,通过不同人物视角,不同角度叙述来解读小说内涵。总而言之,曼斯菲尔德短篇小说是独特新颖、与众不同的。她过早的逝世对英国文坛尤其是短篇小说发展是一个巨大的损失。她是因为对小说创作的过分执着而耗尽了一生的气力。她对艺术的追求与热爱感染着我们,鼓舞我们追求更高的文学之路。
[Abstract]:Mansfield, known as the most famous short story writer, along with her contemporaries James Joyce and Virginia Woolf, became literary leaders in the 1920s and 1930s. Her works represent the emergence and development of modernist novels. She leads the use of new techniques in literature and has a profound impact on English novels, so she is known as the "master of short story style". She uses many modernist writing techniques to show her novel theme and character, which is one of the most important features of her novel. This paper mainly analyzes the modernism skills of Mansfield's short stories, including the desalination features, stream of consciousness, symbolism, and multiple perspectives of narration. Because Mansfield is an important writer in the rising and developing period of modernist novels, her works perfectly reveal the modernist art of novels. She breaks the traditional novel pattern and has no obvious beginning, development, climax and ending, but shows the inner world of the characters through different scenes. In addition, she also uses epiphany techniques to sublimate the characters. Symbolism is the most important skill in modernist literature. Mansfield skillfully uses symbolism to display character emotion and reveal the theme of the novel. By using symbolism, Mansfield sets up many puzzles, emphasizes the theme more, and moves the reader. She can give symbolism to anything in her novels, such as plants, animals and natural scenes. In addition, different from the traditional omniscient narrative perspective or a simple narrative perspective, Mansfield uses a special narrative method-multi-perspective narrative. In this way readers can get rid of the bondage of narrator and devote themselves to the characters of the novel and interpret the connotation of the novel from different perspectives and angles of narration. In short, Mansfield's short stories are unique and unique. Her premature death was a great loss to the development of English literature, especially short stories. She spent her life because of her obsession with the creation of novels. Her pursuit and love of art infects us and inspires us to pursue higher literature.
