论《悼念集》中的救赎

【摘要】：阿尔弗雷德·丁尼生(1809-1892)是英国维多利亚时期最重要的诗人之一,因其著名挽诗《悼念集》的出版于1850年被授予桂冠诗人称号。丁尼生的伟大之处在于他能抓住人类的灵魂并能把它融入到《悼念集》中。《悼念集》原名是《通往心灵之路》,从表面上看,该诗集是丁尼生为悼念他的好友亚瑟·哈勒姆历经由绝望、到怀疑、到重拾希望、到最终坚定信仰的感情和思想演变的自我救赎过程,实则是反映了那个时代人类所共同经历的一种困惑。本文试图从文学功能救赎的角度出发结合文本细读来探讨该部诗集中存在的焦虑和救赎。达尔文的进化论的提出及科学的发展使当时人们的传统信仰受到冲击,此时,马修·阿诺德认为诗歌具有安抚人类心灵的作用。受其影响,丁尼生开始了诗歌的大胆尝试与创新。包括序言和结论在内,该论文共五部分。序言是对丁尼生及《悼念集》进行简要的介绍,包括国内外的研究现状和该论文的主要研究思路。第一章对丁尼生所处时代人们的迷茫和恐慌进行描述,并分析该诗集中的焦虑感。第二章论证丁尼生在创作《悼念集》时如何实现心灵上的一种自我救赎：当得知好友的突然死亡,丁尼生从刚开始的悲痛到绝望,再到找到生活的希望和重新确定信仰。丁尼生的心历路程都印记在《悼念集》中。第三章主要呈现的是：丁尼生在创作的过程中,发现他所面临的问题是当时社会所有人面临的共同问题,而作为一名诗人,他觉得自己有义务以诗歌的形式拯救整个社会。最后是结论部分,认为通过对《悼念集》中的自我救赎和他者救赎,丁尼生提供了一种精神维度的救赎。
[Abstract]:Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892) is one of the most important poets in the Victorian period in England. He was awarded the title of Poet Laureate in 1850 for the publication of his famous Book of mourning. Tennyson's greatness lies in his ability to capture the soul of man and integrate it into the Collection of mourning. The original name is the Road to the mind, ostensibly, This collection of poems is Tennyson's redeeming process from despair to doubt to renewed hope to the evolution of feelings and thoughts that ultimately solidify his faith in tribute to his good friend Arthur Harlem. In fact, it reflects the common human experience of that era a confusion. This paper attempts to probe into the anxiety and redemption in this book of poetry from the perspective of literary function redemption combined with a close reading of the text. Darwin's theory of evolution and the development of science impacted people's traditional beliefs at that time. At this time, Matthew Arnold thought that poetry had the function of soothing the human mind. Influenced by it, Tennyson began the bold attempt and innovation of poetry. The thesis consists of five parts, including the preface and conclusion. The preface is a brief introduction to Tennyson and the Collection of mourning, including the current research situation at home and abroad and the main research ideas of this paper. The first chapter describes the confusion and panic in Tennyson's time and analyzes the anxiety in the collection. The second chapter demonstrates how Tennyson realized a kind of self-salvation in his mind when he wrote the Book of mourning: when he learned of his friend's sudden death, Tennyson went from grief at the beginning to despair, to finding hope in life and redefining his faith. The journey of Tennyson's heart is imprinted in the Book of mourning. The third chapter mainly presents: Tennyson in the creation process, found that the problem he faced is the common problem faced by all the society at that time, and as a poet, he felt that he has the obligation to save the whole society in the form of poetry. The last part is the conclusion that Tennyson provides a spiritual dimension of redemption through the redemption of the self and the other in the set of mourning.
