【摘要】：葛浩文是著名的中国现当代文学翻译家。莫言获得2012年诺贝尔文学奖之后，葛浩文作为其作品唯一的英语译家，，更是因其权威、优秀的译文成为了国内外文坛和学术界关注的焦点。本文选择葛译《孽子》与《荒人手记》这两部有着相似主题和深厚文化内涵的当代台湾小说为研究对象，从文体变异和文化负载词的翻译这两个方面，对译文与原文进行对比研究。 通过深入分析译者在同性恋用语、文内加注和译者分段三方面的文体变异，和对物质文化、社会文化负载词的翻译，本文进一步探索葛浩文灵活、流畅的翻译策略，试析背后所体现的译者文化取向，揭示其采取这些策略的主、客观原因，以及所获成功与不足，以期对于当代中国文学的海外传播有所启发。
