《哈利波特与“混血王子”》两中译本的文化描述翻译研究

【摘要】： 尽管《哈利波特》系列已经被翻译成64种文字，并取得了文学作品历史销量榜第三的骄人成绩，在翻译研究领域却受到了忽视。为填补这一空缺，本文将以《哈利波特与“混血王子”》的两种中文译本(大陆出版的简体中文版和台湾出版的繁体中文版)为范本，从文化视角对其进行对比研究。 本文以描述翻译学的基本理论为框架，以异化和归化为主线，，对两个译本进行对比，以期寻求文化负载因素的最佳翻译策略。本文首先从文本类型、读者群、翻译目的和翻译诗学四方面来进行文本对比，分析预备规范对翻译的影响方式和程度；其后在文本分析中，采用奈达所提出的判断分析文化负载词翻译效果的四步骤，从生态、物质、社会、语言、姿态／习惯和组织／习俗／活动／程序／概念六个文化层面，论述了操作规范的导向作用；最后，指出文化的多样性和规范的多变性决定了译无定则，在文化转换中应采取多样化的方法，而不是简单地将一种文化标准强加于另一文化之上。由于本文旨在对影响两组译者选择翻译策略的主客观因素以及所选策略的效度进行描述性研究，因此对两个译本的优劣将不予置评。
