【摘要】：作为20世纪美国最重要的作家之一,威廉·福克纳以他独特的创作技巧和深刻的主题享誉现代文学界。许多作品自出版以来就备受关注,特别是其杰出的叙述手法更是吸引了国内外众多批评家和学者的注意力。然而从陌生化的角度对福克纳作品展开的研究仍然是有限的,因此笔者尝试运用陌生化理论,通过对其三部作品《喧哗与骚动》、《我弥留之际》、和《八月之光》进行分析,探究福克纳是如何实现陌生化的效果。 本文首先讨论了福克纳通过明喻、暗喻、反讽、重复、标点符号等修辞手段在语言层面所达到的陌生化效果；其次通过对内聚焦、外聚焦、零聚焦,以及三者之间转化进行分析,探讨了陌生化的聚焦效果；最后通过对交错的叙述时间顺序和情节结构进行研究,揭示结构层面的陌生化效果。 基于以上论述,论文得出结论：福克纳通过使用陌生化的创作手法,突破了传统小说的叙述模式,在故事内容和读者之间设置障碍,延长了读者的审美感知,并给读者留下了深刻的印象,从而实现了陌生化的艺术效果。
