关联理论在通俗小说翻译中的应用

【摘要】：近年来,大陆出版了大量的外国通俗文学作品,其中不乏蝉联畅销书榜的小说,如《达芬奇密码》、《哈利·波特》、《暮光之城》等。出版商看到机遇后,更是加快了引进通俗小说的脚步。但是编辑组织的译者却非职业翻译,素质良莠不齐,有些译者经验丰富,译作之优美甚至超越原作；有些译者则缺乏经验,抑或不负责任地乱译,其译作带有浓重的翻译腔,甚至是错译连篇,使读者翻阅时不知所云。与此同时,通俗小说的翻译市场长期缺乏规则、标准,而学富五车的翻译家却多着眼于研究诗歌和古代经典小说的翻译,忽略了对外国通俗小说的翻译研究。 本论文希望通过实例证明格特的关联翻译理论适于指导通俗小说的英译汉实践,并且将这一理论作为除去翻译腔的理论基础。首先,作者会介绍通俗小说的基础知识以及译者在其中的角色；然后,作者将对一些交际理论和翻译理论作简要介绍,重点介绍关联理论与关联翻译理论；作为例证来源的五部通俗小说会在第三部分予以简要介绍；第四部分则是为思果的主张找到理论支持,并以大量分门别类的翻译实例来证明格特的理论适用于通俗小说翻译,这其中包括作者的亲身体验。
