论儿童故事中的隐喻框架和概念整合

【摘要】:本论文的主要目的是从Lakoff和Johnson的隐喻理论(二领域模式)和Fauconnier和Turner的概念整合理论(多空间模式)来分析儿童故事中隐喻框架和概念整合这两种认知活动,使我们能深刻的了解故事思考和叙事想象所涉及的认知历程。 在我的分析中发现,儿童故事里有相当丰富的隐喻信息。一方面,隐喻不会只是一种单一的、特殊的修辞方式,相反的,隐喻之间有系统性的关联,针对一个抽象概念会有好几个层层交织的、融贯的概念隐喻网络来框架故事的结构以及主题。另一方面,概念整合是从旧意义创造出新意义的基本认知操作,是在思考历程中动态的、灵活的、主动的部分,这个认知操作解释了关于隐喻或非隐喻的表述里所涉及的认知活动。通过了解本文中所呈现的隐喻框架和概念整合,有助于我们能更深入地了解故事内容以及故事所涉及到的认知活动。
[Abstract]:The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the metaphorical framework and conceptual integration in children's stories from the perspectives of Lakoff and Johnson's metaphorical theory (two-domain model) and Fauconnier and Turner's conceptual integration theory (multi-spatial model). So that we can deeply understand the story of thinking and narrative imagination involved in the cognitive process. In my analysis, I found that children's stories are rich in metaphorical information. On the one hand, metaphor is not just a single, special figure of speech. On the contrary, there is a systematic correlation between metaphors, and there are several layers of intertwining for an abstract concept. A coherent network of conceptual metaphors is used to frame the structure and theme of the story. On the other hand, conceptual integration is the basic cognitive operation to create new meaning from the old meaning. It is a dynamic, flexible and active part in the course of thinking. This cognitive operation explains the cognitive activities involved in metaphorical or non-metaphorical representations. By understanding the metaphorical framework and conceptual integration presented in this paper, we can gain a better understanding of the content of the story and the cognitive activities involved in the story.
