韦斯坦因的比较文学“中道”及其学理价值

【摘要】：对"什么是比较文学"这一关乎比较文学存在依据的重要命题,韦斯坦因超越了重视考证的法国学派和眼界宽泛的美国学派之间的争辩,采取了一种中间路线,他从辨析定义出发,主张回溯比较文学学科史,融合法国学派、美国学派研究之长而避其短。韦斯坦因尝试将比较文学这样一个开放的学科纳入一个科学体系,这种比较文学"中道"折射出其健康、公允、开放的思维方式,彰显了其远见及学理价值。
[Abstract]:With regard to the important proposition of "what is comparative literature", which concerns the basis of comparative literature, Vestain transcends the debate between the French school, which attaches importance to textual research, and the American school with a broad horizon, and takes a middle course. Starting from the definition of discrimination, he advocated the retrospect of the history of comparative literature, the combination of the French school and the American school. Wei Stein tried to bring the open subject of comparative literature into a scientific system. The "middle way" of comparative literature reflected its healthy, fair and open mode of thinking, and demonstrated its foresight and academic value.
