《红楼梦》中语义模糊数字的翻译

【摘要】：模糊性是人类思维的基本特性之一，也左右着人类的语言，进而在语言的转换过程中它的存在亦不容忽视。所以把模糊理论引入翻译研究已成为必然。其研究可以从多方面着手，本文则主要探讨语义模糊数字及其翻译。笔者对《红楼梦》中的语义模糊数字及其翻译进行研究。通过研读《红楼梦》及其三种译本，对文中的语义模糊数字按类别进行数学统计及分析，进一步探讨数字语义模糊的成因、语义模糊数字及其语用功能，并探讨在《红楼梦》的英译本中语义模糊数字的翻译策略，为数字语义模糊研究和数字翻译研究提供实证参考。 在翻译学习和研究过程中，古典文学作品中数字的频繁使用和翻译方法的灵活性引起了笔者的注意。笔者以《红楼梦》作为研究对象，采用数学统计法和资料文献法为研究方法，并以认知语义学和功能对等理论为理论基础，从语义模糊和翻译两方面对《红楼梦》中的语义模糊数字进行研讨。本研究选取的三种英译本分别是David Hawkes、Bencraft Joly、戴乃迭和杨宪益翻译的。 对于论文结构的设计，首先，在论文的前两部分笔者回顾了以往关于语言模糊性的研究并介绍了语义模糊数字的定义。在此基础上，第三部分则对《红楼梦》中的语义模糊数字进行系统地分析归类并阐明其相应作用。论文的第四部分中，，集中研讨了语义模糊数字的翻译原则和方法。最后，探究了本文的意义及得出的主要结论。 本文对语义模糊数字及其翻译方法的研究，丰富了语义模糊研究的具体内容，明确了数字翻译原则和翻译策略，对于数字翻译的研究有一定的学术价值和指导意义。从而，使得译者更好的把握数字的模糊性并译出高质量的译作。
[Abstract]:Fuzziness is one of the basic characteristics of human thinking, it also affects human language, and its existence can not be ignored in the process of language conversion. Therefore, it is inevitable to introduce fuzzy theory into translation studies. This paper focuses on semantic fuzzy numbers and their translation. The author studies the semantic fuzzy numbers and their translation in A Dream of Red Mansions. By studying A Dream of Red Mansions and its three versions, this paper makes mathematical statistics and analysis of semantic fuzzy numbers by category, and further discusses the causes, semantic fuzzy numbers and their pragmatic functions of numeral semantic ambiguity. The translation strategies of semantic fuzzy numbers in the English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions are discussed in order to provide an empirical reference for the study of numeral semantic ambiguity and digital translation. In the course of translation study and research, the frequent use of numbers and the flexibility of translation methods in classical literary works have attracted the attention of the author. The author takes A Dream of Red Mansions as the object of study, uses the method of mathematical statistics and literature as the research method, and takes cognitive semantics and functional equivalence theory as the theoretical basis. The semantic fuzzy numbers in A Dream of Red Mansions are studied in terms of semantic ambiguity and translation. The three English versions selected in this study were translated by David Hawkes,Bencraft Joly, Dainaidi and Yang Xianyi. In the first two parts of the thesis, the author reviews the previous researches on language fuzziness and introduces the definition of semantic fuzzy numbers. On this basis, the third part systematically analyzes and classifies the semantic fuzzy numbers in A Dream of Red Mansions. In the fourth part, we focus on the translation principles and methods of semantic fuzzy numbers. Finally, the significance of this paper and the main conclusions are explored. The study of semantic fuzzy numbers and their translation methods enriches the concrete contents of semantic fuzzy studies, clarifies the principles and strategies of digital translation, and has certain academic value and guiding significance for the study of digital translation. Thus, the translator can better grasp the fuzziness of numbers and translate high-quality translation.
