【摘要】：互文理论是俄国翻译理论家克里斯蒂娃1967年提出的用于文学批评的一种理论。用互文翻译来分析古典文学英译本更有利于翻译理论的科学化，可以使译者更加关注翻译过程，更好地对古典文学英译本进行评析。本文从互文翻译视角采用定性与定量分析结合的方法，以泰勒和罗慕士的《三国演义》两个英译本为研究对象，并根据菲尔克罗夫的观点,将互文翻译分为显性互文和成构互文两大类加以分析，综合论述了互文理论在指导翻译实践中注重翻译过程和文化因素的特点，比较了两个英译本在采用不同翻译策略时的译文差别。本研究发现，同一个互文符号在不同的语境中具有不同的意义，，只有准确的把握源语文本的意图才能翻译出正确的译文，因此，互文翻译研究有助于译文质量的提高。
