互文视角下古典诗歌英译的译者主体性研究

【摘要】：随着文学理论的发展,尤其是后现代文论的发展,有关译者主体性的理论也取得了突飞猛进的进展,译者的主体地位得到很大程度的提高。互文性理论对译者主体性的发展起到了不可忽视的作用。 互文性概念是由法国学者朱丽叶·克里斯蒂娃在二十世纪六十年代率先提出的。克里斯蒂娃提出互文性概念以后,许多学者从不同方面发展了该理论,互文性理论的出现给翻译提供了新的视角,因为翻译活动在某种程度上就是互文活动。互文性强调的是创造性的“剪切和粘贴”。因此,互文性和译者主体性有着密切的联系。 中国古典诗歌以其历史悠久、内容丰富多彩和意象精美绝伦,成为中国人极为珍视的艺术宝藏。中国古典诗歌的翻译长期以来一直是翻译研究的重要组成部分。一些著名的中国古诗已经被译成许多英文译本,《枫桥夜泊》就是其中之一。《枫桥夜泊》的三十五个英文译本组成了庞大的互文网络,这个互文网络给译者带来巨大影响。在翻译过程中,译者应该吸收互文带来的积极影响,摒弃消极影响,翻译出具有创造性的译文。 这首七言绝句的作者,用简单凝练的语言在原诗中创造出美轮美奂的意象。人们对这首看似简单的意象诗有着各种各样不同的理解。各个译者也是根据各自的理解进行翻译创作。 通过从标题,音韵,意象和体裁四个方面对《枫桥夜泊的》三十五个英译本进行对比分析,作者发现绝大多数译者能够在不同程度上发挥才智,去除互文性带来的消极因素,创作出创造性的译文,从而体现译者的主体性。
