【摘要】： 随着改革开放的不断深化,经济的快速发展,中国如今要比以往任何时候都更加吸引全世界的目光。越来越多的中国产品打入了国际市场,在满足国内消费者的同时也满足了国外消费者的多方面需求。作为中华传统文化的瑰宝,中草药一直是中国产品和文化中不可或缺的组成部分。近年来,中药引起了全世界的关注和兴趣。中药潜在的国际市场巨大,发展前景广阔。作为药品的重要附件,药品说明书引起了人们越来越多的关注,对出口药品来说,焦点就集中在药品说明书的翻译质量上。然而,目前许多药品说明书的翻译质量仍然不能令人满意,既影响了产品的良好形象,也影响了产品的出口销售。 药品说明书翻译的难点主要在于源语和目的语的语言和文化差异。作为一种特殊的科技语言,中英文药品说明书均具有独特的语言风格、文本形式、专业(医学)知识和文化背景,值得深入系统地加以分析、研究。 本文作者运用奈达的功能对等理论对药品说明书的翻译加以研究,找出英语平行文本的主要语言特点,分析药品说明书翻译中出现的各类问题,归纳了一些力求使译文与原文实现功能对等、信息传真,同时在语言上又简洁易懂、清晰自然的翻译方法,以期为药品说明书的翻译工作者提供一些翻译理论与实践方面的指导。 全文分为六章,第一章简要介绍了药品说明书的重要性以及本研究的意义和方法;第二章回顾了国内外不同学者对于药品说明书翻译的观点和论述,介绍了奈达的功能对等理论和纽马克的功能理论;第三章详细分析了原版英文说明书的语言、结构等方面的特点,作为中文药品说明书翻译参考的重要依据;第四章针对中文药品说明书翻译中出现的问题进行了分析和探讨;第五章提出了以奈达的功能对等理论为指导的药品说明书的翻译技巧和策略,着重从词汇、句法和语篇等层面上举例分析。第六章对全文作了简要的总结,并指出了本论文研究的不足和今后进一步研究的方向。
